Sphere II:
Employee Assistance Professional (EAP) Services
Navigating Systemic Noise: Focused Short-Term Consultations
Many modern workplaces provide Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) as a voluntary, work-based benefit designed to support your well-being. As an approved provider on numerous major EAP panels, I offer highly focused, short-term consultations to help you assess, manage, and cut through immediate personal or professional disruptions.
Experiential Wisdom for Executive Stress
Navigating corporate landscapes, political noise, and systemic pressures requires a partner who understands the terrain from the inside out. In addition to my clinical training, my career background includes extensive real-world experience as a healthcare and social service director and consultant. This deep, experiential wisdom allows us to rapidly pinpoint the roots of "executive stress," workplace anxiety, and professional identity challenges. Here, we work on your identifying the practical, actionable strategic toolsets that you can try out in your world as you work toward your personal and professional goals.

The EAP Process & Continuity of Care
Authorized & Covered
EAP services are fully pre-authorized by your employer's program, meaning these short-term sessions are entirely free to you. You simply contact your EAP provider to secure your authorization code and approved session window before we begin. I encourage all clients to check first to see if they are eligible to have at least some of our sessions covered by EAP services, if applicable or available through your employer or if you are a covered dependent of someone with EAP services.
EAP PANELS
I presently participate in some but not all EAP panels including those of Aetna, Cigna, Horizon, Optum, Anthem, AllOne, Humana, Carelon, LifeWorks (formerly Morneau Shepell), Ulliance, and some others. Please check with your EAP provider to make sure I am in network with your particular plan. I do not participate in all EAP panels and coverage can vary. Some panels may list me by my individual name Cynthia E. Leach, MSW, LCSW, LMFT (please be sure to share my locations when you have them search); and others may list me as The Awareness Practice LLC.
clear referral paths
Because EAP work is structurally short-term and episode-focused, I always provide clients with comprehensive resources and professional referrals at the conclusion of the approved series to ensure your continued path forward.
